Hi Julia, sorry to hear that. For the time being I would try not to concentrate on hair growth and more about treating your hair well and getting it back to good health. I would eat plenty of protein-rich foods, treat your hair to a weekly hair mask on the ends and gentle scalp massage. Try not to use any heated tools on your hair, and wash it using lukewarm water – avoid burning hot water – and your hair should be feeling better soon.

I wish my hair daily because I am a blonde and I workout most days of the week so my hair gets drenched in sweat (it’s not ideal) but I only shampoo the roots and hold the rest out of the way. I use regular conditioner and also leave in conditioner.

Do u do the inversion head massage with coconut oil on dry, unwashed hair or wet, clean hair? If done on dry hair, how long until washed out & how much coconut oil shld I use? Just enuf 4 scalp or a big handful 4 entire length of hair. Mine is past back of bra & quite thick. Also, is” XTRA VIRGIN” better than just” VIRGIN” coconut oil & if so why? ?? Thanks so much! Ive been using warm olive oil all over more about 30mins or even over night. Of course washout in the morning. . Also may-o is another great one and coconut oil. Love it. And i like the vo5 hot oil treatments… its helped so im passing it on ladies enjoy and i hope u like the results i do….

Hi there, I know what you mean. I apply coconut oil at night and then shampoo it out in the morning which does the trick for me. How about halving the amount of oil you are applying? You don’t need as much as you think – coconut oil is extremely moisturising even in small doses.
