Hi Jennie, really sorry to hear about your experience. It can be terribly upsetting, but I would use a moisturising hair mask every week to get it back to good health. Make sure you eat a good healthy diet (you can find details in the article) and use just lukewarm water to wash your hair. I wouldn’t recommend hair massage if your hair is falling out at the moment, when it has had time to recover you can try a gentle scalp massage in the shower when you’re shampooing – that would be a good start. Hi Beth, it really depends on how thick and long your hair is. I use around half a teaspoon and I have mid-length hair to my shoulders. A little goes a long way though so I would just add a few drops/amounts at a time and massage in. You can always add more.

Hey! In somewhere in may I had got a layered hair cut. I liked it but then started not liking it after 3 months so I cut it again into a layers. when the stylist cut my it was horrible. Absolutely horrible. I felt like crying because my hair was ruined. My friends made fun of me because of my hair. After 4 months it grew. And I cut it straight but the hairs on the top of my head were still very short. (About 4 inches difference between my top hair and low hair) It still looks horrible so I had to clip the top hair up. The next month later I again cut my hair straight. This all happened in December and now it’s 23ed Feb 2016. My hair still looks weird. I’m desperate for my top hair to grow faster. Hi Gabrielle, Sorry to hear you’re insecure about your hair. To find out if you’re losing hair, you need to go to the doctors or see a specialist. They will look at your scalp for any evidence of this, including bald patches. Most of the time, hair gets thinner towards the ends as it splits. Regular cuts along with hair masks should help with this. I hope this helps 🙂
– Eat a healthy diet high in protein and iron , chick peas are great for hair health because your getting enough iron & protein that you need . You can also include other healthy foods like meat , chicken , Salmon , dairy products , fruit and vegetables and supplements like biotin which is great for keeping the hair strong and healthy , if none of these options work go to the doctor and have some blood test done to see what is causing it , overall I hope these options work for you .
Hi Erin, so to hear you’ve had a bit of a hair nightmare. I once cut my hair into a pixie cute and it took a long time to grow it back to the style I originally had. I suggest you follow the advice in this article to help grow your hair quicker. The inversion method worked for me so let me know how you get on with that. When your hair is dry, do a dry brush from the head downward once every day. Use a wooden bristle brush that stimulates the scalp and pulls the natural oils produced at the top of the head down to the ends. This will naturally hydrate your hair.

Nevertheles,I’m a man, though born in Atlanta,GA, I do have a deep Nigerian heritage,I’m talking both parents deep… So yeah,git the short,black curly hair and all that sstuff… After 4months,t’s currently in a semi-afro state, but I wish to make it grow longer, like so much…. Hi Vinita, yes hair specialists do say you shouldn’t wash every day but everyone is different. Some days I do wash my hair every day butI try to cut it down to every other day. I would suggest using the oil on days when you want to wash your hair the next morning, and simply omit the oil on days when you do not want to wash your hair. You can do the inversion method without oil too – I hope that helps 🙂
