I already take biotin every day and it sure does help make my hair thicker and healthier – I will double up for the next week to see if that helps with hair growth. I’ve been taking it for a year and a half when I started growing my hair out from a pixie cut – it’s also great for growing and strengthening your fingernails. I started growing out my hair 18 months ago and now it is to my shoulders which is roughly .75 of an inch per month. I’ve had a few trims to shape it up – my hair was almost shaved above my ears so it was like starting my hair growth from scratch. I also drink a lot of water and eat plenty of almonds & avocados because I like their health benefits and I eat plenty of other fruits and veggies. A good diet is key to hair growth. I changed my diet from lots of pasta, rice and sugar and the difference in how I feel is amazing. So is my hair since I changed my diet. It was very difficult to break old habits and to stay away from most sugars and sweets, but it was well worth it for my hair growth and for how good I feel. Hi Saanvi, you don’t need to apply coconut oil every time you do the inversion method. You can massage your scalp without it too. How about only using coconut oil when you are going to wash your hair?
Hi maria..I just read your question about where to find amla in US. I too am in US and I buy it from any local Indian/Pakistani (ethnic) grocer/store. You can easily find different brands of amla oil, also whole dried amla and amla powder as well. You can include all of this in your hair care regimen. Hope this helps.

Hey! In somewhere in may I had got a layered hair cut. I liked it but then started not liking it after 3 months so I cut it again into a layers. when the stylist cut my it was horrible. Absolutely horrible. I felt like crying because my hair was ruined. My friends made fun of me because of my hair. After 4 months it grew. And I cut it straight but the hairs on the top of my head were still very short. (About 4 inches difference between my top hair and low hair) It still looks horrible so I had to clip the top hair up. The next month later I again cut my hair straight. This all happened in December and now it’s 23ed Feb 2016. My hair still looks weird. I’m desperate for my top hair to grow faster. I have just tried to heat up coconut oil and message my scalp with it. I also tie my hair into two plaits. Could you please give me some tips on how to grow my top hair faster? I want it Atleast 4 inches long but quickly. If you know Lindsey Stirling you’ll see that her top hair is very short from her bottom hair. Please reply as soon as.possible.

I’ve heard before that you can use Vitamin E oil in shampoo in your hair to help it detangle and I’ve also heard that you can use it on a scar or something like that in order to thin the blood a little and make it heal faster so that would definitely help blood flow, so if there’s no other underlying medical issues do you think it would be okay to use Vitamin E oil mixed with coconut oil for the inversion method to induce more blood flow to the hair follicles

Hi Siana, great questions. From what I know and have read, the scalp massage helps increase blood circulation to the hair follicles. The pressure applies warms the skin and open up the blood vessels to increase flow and boost circulation, but the results are diminished if this is done every day. It should be done in short bursts – for example for seven day then break for 3 weeks – if you want to see rapid growth. If you perform scalp massage every day then I don’t think this will damage your hair particularly, but it may encourage hairs to fall out depending how vigorously you massage your scalp. Brand-wise, organic, unrefined is best. Coconut oil is only available in solid form – it’s solid at room temperature. To liquify it, simply massage in your hands before applying to hair.
