Hi Thanks for sharing these tips but I just have one question. If you use the inversion method and massage every other day with coconut oil without breaking for four weeks in between treatments until your hair is your desired length will it stop working after awhile or damage your hair? Basically what I’m asking is why do you break for four weeks? Thank you!

Shampoo twice a week to cleanse the scalp and hair without stripping it of all its moisture. Shampooing too often can cause hair breakage and split ends. Use lukewarm water, and not hot water. Going natural with beauty products and cleaning products will also help. But these suggestions will also do so very much more than just give you healthy hair. Another very important aspect is the law of attraction. If you fear your will lose your hair, the universe will make that fear a reality. Instead, focus on gratitude for the hair you do have, and how all the improvements you are making are creating the best person you can possibly be. Going natural is always best. Hi Julia, sorry to hear that. For the time being I would try not to concentrate on hair growth and more about treating your hair well and getting it back to good health. I would eat plenty of protein-rich foods, treat your hair to a weekly hair mask on the ends and gentle scalp massage. Try not to use any heated tools on your hair, and wash it using lukewarm water – avoid burning hot water – and your hair should be feeling better soon.
– Advocates using heat tools everyday for styling to cut back on damage if you need to use a blow dryer wait till your hair is almost dry to reduce breakage & never comb or brush wet hair , hair is more weaker and prone to breakage when it’s wet .
Soak two to three tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in water for eight to 10 hours. Grind the soaked seeds to make a fine paste. You can also mix two teaspoons of coconut milk in it. Apply the paste on your hair and scalp and allow it to sit for about 30 minutes before washing your hair with lukewarm water. Hi Thahani. We’ve actually never heard of this method before, so can’t speak from personal experience. However it looks like fenugreek seeds would be super nourishing for your hair, so you could give it a go. It definitely won’t do your hair any harm! 🙂

Hi there, if your hair is greasy then I wouldn’t recommend using the oil every day – maybe just once a week and you only need the smallest amount. You can do the inversion method without oil – just gently massage your scalp every day for the 7 days. In terms of washing your hair, try to use a small amount of product and use luke warm water to rinse your hair. I hope this helps.
Hi Em, I can only recommend the Inversion Method which states you should massage for 7 days every 4 weeks. Scalp massage is always beneficial, but for rapid growth I think you should stick to the 7 days and see how it works for you. Cutting out heat and eating a rich protein diet will certainly help.
Washing too infrequently can also be harmful. People with thinning hair often find themselves more susceptible to dandruff and scalp conditions which can be avoided by regular (though not daily) washing.

The speed at which your hair grows can depend on two things: genetics and the shape of your follicles. Asian hair is on average the thickest and most coarse hair compared to Caucasian and African hair. Now I am of Asian descent but my mother has very thin hair while my father has very thick hair. I have a combination of both their hair so I have thick hair strands but unfortunately not much of them!
