Hi Thanks for sharing these tips but I just have one question. If you use the inversion method and massage every other day with coconut oil without breaking for four weeks in between treatments until your hair is your desired length will it stop working after awhile or damage your hair? Basically what I’m asking is why do you break for four weeks? Thank you!
Due to hair makeup activities, I have done years of damage to my hair. I thought i should take care some steps to improve my hairs. After googling in internet, i came to know about Nuhairrx serum. I spend one full day to read the reviews about this product and decided to use this product. After using few months, i feel very happy with the result. If you’re curious about the method I used, you can check it out yourself.
Shampoo twice a week to cleanse the scalp and hair without stripping it of all its moisture. Shampooing too often can cause hair breakage and split ends. Use lukewarm water, and not hot water. You may apply a conditioner to your hair on the days that you do not shampoo to prevent drying. Dermatologists also recommend using a deep-conditioning product on hair at least once a week.
Once a week, I apply a DIY protein mask. To try it, combine an egg white, 1 tablespoon of castor oil, half a banana, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt. Mash the ingredients together into a paste-like consistency and apply it to the entire scalp and hair. Leave on for 30 minutes or longer under a warm head bonnet and towel and rinse with warm water and a very small amount of a mild pH balanced shampoo.

Telogen – Also known as the resting phase. The follicle remains dormant and the hair will be anchored in place. Depending on the strength of the follicle, it will eventually soften and the hair will eventually break free and shed.
Like many of my follicly challenged brothers, I can remember the exact time I started losing my hair. You may not believe it to look at my proudly gleaming forehead now, but I used to have long hair down to my chin, which I’d often dye black or beautiful, shimmering obsidian, which was the fashion at the time (for people into Linkin Park). Yet, slowly but surely, the long black or shimmering obsidian hairs would start piling up on my pillow every morning, and in an act of defiance against what I considered my own biological inferiority, I shaved it all off, and have had a skinhead ever since.
Usually, you can easily decipher density by simply looking in the mirror. If you can see traces of your scalp when your hair is in its natural state, it’s highly likely that you have low density. As for thickness, if you take a single strand between your fingers and feel absolutely nothing, chances are your strands are fine.
Jamee, The best things you can do for healthy hair is eliminating junk food, processed (packaged) foods and eating organic as much as possible, exercising regularly, and drinking lots of pure water. Going natural with beauty products and cleaning products will also help. But these suggestions will also do so very much more than just give you healthy hair. Another very important aspect is the law of attraction. If you fear your will lose your hair, the universe will make that fear a reality. Instead, focus on gratitude for the hair you do have, and how all the improvements you are making are creating the best person you can possibly be. Going natural is always best. Hope this helps and good luck!
Hi Julia, sorry to hear that. For the time being I would try not to concentrate on hair growth and more about treating your hair well and getting it back to good health. I would eat plenty of protein-rich foods, treat your hair to a weekly hair mask on the ends and gentle scalp massage. Try not to use any heated tools on your hair, and wash it using lukewarm water – avoid burning hot water – and your hair should be feeling better soon.
– Advocates using heat tools everyday for styling to cut back on damage if you need to use a blow dryer wait till your hair is almost dry to reduce breakage & never comb or brush wet hair , hair is more weaker and prone to breakage when it’s wet .
Soak two to three tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in water for eight to 10 hours. Grind the soaked seeds to make a fine paste. You can also mix two teaspoons of coconut milk in it. Apply the paste on your hair and scalp and allow it to sit for about 30 minutes before washing your hair with lukewarm water. When done weekly on a regular basis, this remedy will prevent dry scalp and help you enjoy thicker hair.
Ugh, I just cut off 8 inches and I’m sick over it. Granted I needed a good cut, but it’s too short for me. I am so thankful for this article! Sittin here with coconut oil in my hair and I love the smell!
Hi Thahani. We’ve actually never heard of this method before, so can’t speak from personal experience. However it looks like fenugreek seeds would be super nourishing for your hair, so you could give it a go. It definitely won’t do your hair any harm! 🙂

Hi there, if your hair is greasy then I wouldn’t recommend using the oil every day – maybe just once a week and you only need the smallest amount. You can do the inversion method without oil – just gently massage your scalp every day for the 7 days. In terms of washing your hair, try to use a small amount of product and use luke warm water to rinse your hair. I hope this helps.
Hi Em, I can only recommend the Inversion Method which states you should massage for 7 days every 4 weeks. Scalp massage is always beneficial, but for rapid growth I think you should stick to the 7 days and see how it works for you. Cutting out heat and eating a rich protein diet will certainly help.
Washing too infrequently can also be harmful. People with thinning hair often find themselves more susceptible to dandruff and scalp conditions which can be avoided by regular (though not daily) washing.

Hair is made up of keratin and dead skin cells. While there’s no direct method to make your hair grow faster overnight, there are steps you can take to keep your hair healthy and long. Talk to your doctor before trying supplements such as biotin, keratin, or other nutritional supplements. They may interact with medications and cause unintended side effects.
Why is this pattern of hair loss only in the front and on top? That’s where hormone-sensitive follicles live. The follicles on the sides and back of the head aren’t affected by DHT and usually stay healthy.
HI I always tried to have long hair but then I cut it short and now it’s mid length, I want my hair to grow at least 3 inches please are their any home remedies that I can try, or are their any hair masks I can get to make it grow faster.?
The speed at which your hair grows can depend on two things: genetics and the shape of your follicles. Asian hair is on average the thickest and most coarse hair compared to Caucasian and African hair. Now I am of Asian descent but my mother has very thin hair while my father has very thick hair. I have a combination of both their hair so I have thick hair strands but unfortunately not much of them!
Thankyou for sharing these helpful tips. I agree with the biotin thing, it works wonders for my hair. I also use curry powder and curd along with the onion juice to make my hair thick, long and bouncy. 🙂 Do check out my hair story as well.
