Did they imagine the writer saved the best advice for themselves but it would then be shared if asked about it in a comment? Hi Whitney. I’m so sorry you’re having problems with your hair – we can all relate! You say it breaks off, in which case you might actually NEED a haircut. This will keep it healthy and prevent it from splitting. With regards to other solutions, have you tried any hair treatments? LUSH have some great ones, and there are also hundreds online you can make at home? It sounds to me like your hair is not necessarily struggling to grow, but is unhealthy and therefore you are losing length and fullness. I hope these tips help 🙂

Listen…make a paste one night before applying. The paste consists of Henna powder, reetha powder, Amla powder and shikakai powder. Now boil methi seeds and tea leaves in water. Now mix all the above powders together with the help of this water and yogurt. Keep it overnight. Hi Maddie, sorry to hear about your split end woes. I can sympathise because my hair can be very weak and often starts splitting after just one use of the hair straighteners! I would suggest getting a proper trim at your hairdressers to get rid of as many dead ends as possible. Then you can start afresh with your new haircare routine. Follow the tips in the article – eat plenty of protein rich foods, use luke warm water, try the inversion method, use a good oil maybe once a week. This should all help improve the condition of your hair if nothing else.
Hi Vinita, yes hair specialists do say you shouldn’t wash every day but everyone is different. Some days I do wash my hair every day butI try to cut it down to every other day. I would suggest using the oil on days when you want to wash your hair the next morning, and simply omit the oil on days when you do not want to wash your hair. You can do the inversion method without oil too – I hope that helps 🙂
One of the reasons ur hair is falling is because u wash it everyday. That makes ur hair fall Very Very badly. I’ll give u some tips that worked for me. I had very curly, thin and short hair but now I have thick hair which falls to my waist! This is wat I use: castor oil mixed with almond oil (or olive oil) I use this everyday or sometimes after every 2 days. And also the shampoo and conditioner that I use and realllllllly helped me are Mane ‘n Tail- if u live in uae or india (asia basically) u can get them at Spinney’s- and I use egg for my hair and if ur growing out ur hair then STAY AWAY FROM HEAT (hair straighteners, blow dryers etc) because trust me, if u use heat on ur hair it will not grow quickly. Especially for people with curly hair. And do not use hair sprays or heat protectants they really damage ur hair and make it dry.
