hi I had blesched my hair twice in a week, it’s burned really crispy, I had to trim it short but my hair was long an now it’s short and very damaged, I don’t want to cut it shorter what can I do? I’m very depressed about my hair
This is a great start for anyone with thicker, darker hair that’s looking to go into their first balayage. It’s a realistic goal, plus it lends itself to less maintenance by working with the client’s natural color and blending the hand-painted color up into the client’s root.
best to apply pure coconut oil almost every day in a week except a day and have a head bath , use of shampoo frequent also to be avoided it contains much of chemicals , avoid hair dryer it weakens the hair cells use egg on hair let it for sometime and rinse nothing harm using egg
Avoid chemical based shampoo, conditioner and styling products. Most hair products contain chemicals that are effective at cleaning your hair but may cause much damage. Some people aren’t affected by these chemicals, but if you’re worried about thinning hair, it’s best to avoid them.
If you want an asymmetric look for your bob but aren’t ready to commit, wear one side behind your ear. It will give the illusion of an asymmetric haircut. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be ready to visit your hairstylist and actually get the haircut.

Hi Alice. WOW! We can’t believe how long your hair is – you sound almost like Rapunzel. The inversion method really is amazing, if you’re prepared to put the effort in – and it sounds like you are. Great stuff, keep up the good work 🙂
Hi Emma. Unfortunately, these are baby hairs. I too have bad ones at the front and despite everything I’ve tried, they won’t seem to grow or go! My best suggestion is using hairspray/other products to keep them neatly in place. I’ve found using a volumizing mousse before blow-drying off my forehead seems to work best.
Getting regular trims gives you the appearance of having thicker hair. In the long run, regularly trimming the hair also helps your hair grow healthy from root to tip. This is also among the most amazing tips on how to grow thick hair naturally at home in one month that I would like to share in the entire article today and people should not skip at all costs!
Gelatin is pure protein and helps nourish your entire body, but it’s especially beneficial to your hair, skin and nails. Gelatin can help the production of collagen in the skin which is essential for strong hair and a healthy complexion. Don’t believe everything you read about skincare containing collagen – you need to boost collagen from the inside as well as the outside! It’ll also help improve joint care.
So can you almost garuntee that the methods will make my hair grow. Fast. I would like my hair to grow longer and i haven’t really found anything. But the oil massage seems interesting. And about how long do you think my hair would grow using your methods, and about how long will it take?
Hi Selena. Sorry to hear about your suffering with tonsil cancer. It’s great to hear you’re on the mend! You could also try the inversion method to stimulate hair growth. Regrowth hair product also sounds like a good idea. Do let us know how you get on! Thanks, Steph
You can encourage the hair to produce hair faster by massaging it regularly. Simply, you warm up coconut oil until comfortable to touch. Then, you apply it into your hair scalp and roots for about 5-10 minutes. Repeat this method once a week for a couple of months, you will notice a significant hair growth.
I’m trying to grow my hair long as I recently cut my hair and realised that even after one month it didn’t grow. I’m definitely going to try this method out and I’ll come back and tell you if it’s working!
Hi there, thanks for your message. With the inversion method you can sit on a chair and just tip your head forward and over so your hair falls forward – you can then start massaging your head. If you feel lightheaded or dizzy then stop immediately. You can eat plenty of food that’s good for hair growth such as spinach and nuts. To get your hair back to good health I can recommend using coconut oil on your scalp and through the lengths of your hair – you only need a small amount to really inject some moisture into your hair.
On average, hair grows half an inch a month but how would you like to grow your hair over an inch in just one week? Find out how you can more than triple your hair growth AND grow brand new hairs here.
I’ve heard before that you can use Vitamin E oil in shampoo in your hair to help it detangle and I’ve also heard that you can use it on a scar or something like that in order to thin the blood a little and make it heal faster so that would definitely help blood flow, so if there’s no other underlying medical issues do you think it would be okay to use Vitamin E oil mixed with coconut oil for the inversion method to induce more blood flow to the hair follicles
Your body needs water to work properly and to grow, and so does the hair. According to a research [3], drinking more water may be the easiest way to help your hair grow thicker. Try to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to get the best results.
i have really bad hair it breaks easy it is either to dry or to oilyand it so frizzy. i want long lush hair but it dosnt seem like its goning happen i will try these when i cananyway. have to keep hope 🙂
Not quite! Vitamin A is important and supports your overall health, which can influence the health of your hair, but it hasn’t been shown to directly influence hair thickness or growth. There’s a better option out there!
It’s also important to note that if you are experiencing unexplained and severe hair loss, you should schedule a checkup with your doctor, as certain illnesses and health conditions can cause hair loss.
I used eggs, and it really worked.first my hairs were so thin and weak so I was so sad but when I started using eggs with 2or3tablespoons of olive oil it worked,I continued the coarse for 2months and it was a miracle!!!!!
If this all sounds futuristic, it is. But there are good reasons this kind of technology will move forward. Today, Americans spend $800 million on hair restoration surgery. And they’d spend a lot more if the surgery got faster and better.
Alopecia areata often starts suddenly and causes patchy hair loss in children and young adults. This condition may result in complete baldness (alopecia totalis). But in about 90% of people with the condition, the hair returns within a few years.
Human hair follicles are very sensitive to the effects of radiation therapy administered to the head, most commonly used to treat cancerous growths within the brain. Hair shedding may start as soon as two weeks after the first dose of radiation and will continue for a couple of weeks. Hair follicles typically enter the resting telogen phase and regrowth should commence 2.5 to 3 months after the hair begins to shed. Regrowth may be sparser after treatment.
I am a survivor all of my hair was gone and it is coming back ,but very slow.I have some organic flax oil with lignans can I use that? I really want my hair back, because I do not like the mascular look. Thank God for you
In this case billion dollar drugs like Finasteride are creating life-altering – often irreversible, side effects in thousands of men every year, including documented suicides, and it’s time we shine some light on the darkness.
Hi Anushka, thanks for this article. I’ve had a really good read through and I’m currently waiting for my jelly to set in the fridge (any excuse to eat my favourite dessert) after using the inversion method with coconut oil. My hair is incredibly thick and there is lots and lots of it, my issue is that it grows out and not down! So frustrating! I’m getting married in December and I’m trying to grow out my hair for the big day. My 20 year old daughter (who has beautiful long, blonde hair) and my fiancé (who is folicley challenged) think I will get it cut before the day. I really want to prove them wrong so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this works xxxx
Apply to dry hair and work into scalp. Push it all up on your head and wait for 30 min. Then wash with a mild shampoo. You may have to wash twice. Then condition as usual. Towel dry. You will feel the difference, It shines, and feels thicker even the second day,. People comment. This is simple and healty, you won’t regret it.
Hi there I have purchased the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment and leave in conditioner. I am just wondering what the best way to use the treatment is? It says to use in between shampoo and conditioner? Is this best way to use it or do you advise putting the treatment in and leaving overnight before shampooing etc the next morning? Thanks
There were tears, there were smiles, there was Royal ceremony and there was an unexpected star of the show. We asked our Messenger audience what they thought of the Royal wedding. Here’s what they had to say.
Any time i use virgin coconut oil on either my hair or scalp..my hair fall out in lumps. I think my fine hair cannot handle oild. I have tried using different oils on and off each time they shed like crazy.
Hi Laurie, thanks for your questions! Really happy to hear you are going to try the method. There are different ways you can do the inversion method. You can apply the coconut oil to dry, unwashed hair in the evening, leave it on overnight with a cap then wash it out in the morning. If you don’t want to wash your hair every day then you can alternate with the inversion method – one day with oil, one day without and so on. You can even do the inversion method without the oil – or just use the oil once a week. It’s completely up to you. There is no real difference between extra virgin and virgin coconut oil, as far as I am aware – this seems to be just a marketing ploy by companies, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the comments on the article, I’m really pleased you like it. I have written the article purely based on my own personal experience and my hair loss experience and journey. I can’t promise it will work for everyone, but I just wanted to share what did work for me – after years of trial and error! I am impressed with how young people say you look… please feel free to share your secret! I swear by coconut oil and face massage, but those wrinkles around the eyes just keep on comin’!
Hi Meredith. It sounds to me like the chlorine is definitely damaging your hair. Are you using a water-tight cap when swimming? Additionally, are you having it cut regularly? Chlorine will damage your hair, making it more prone to splitting. Regular haircuts will prevent this. I would recommend using a weekly hair treatment, such as coconut oil or a specific hair mask from LUSH to reinject nutrients back into your hair. I hope this helps. Thanks, Steph
But many experts in the field are sceptical, pointing out that JAKinhibs seem to combat only specific types of alopecia and have not been proven to effect the most common (by far) cause of hair-loss, male pattern baldness.
The sides and the back of this haircut are cut really short and tight. The top is left long, layered and disconnected from the rest of the haircut. The very front of the top layer is a short fringe and longer pieces of the hair on top lay over it for a chic and interesting finish.
Hello, I have been struggling with my hair for about 4 months now. Back in May I had decided to go back to my natural hair color from being platinum blonde. My natural is an ashy dark dirty blonde. Unfortunately doing it at home was my first mistake, and I ended up with red hair. I went to my old high school which has a salon with students working in it, which was my second mistake. They got my hair to a more manageable color but cut off around 3-4 inches when I only wanted 1 inch off. I was devastated.. and my hair was very very dry and thin and lifeless everywhere except about 5 inches on the top of my head. Since then I have added a lot more blonde highlights to get closer to my natural color as it wasn’t going a weird orange red color from the previous red dye. It has gotten a lot more moisturized and feels much less dry since then, but regardless is still very stringy and lifeless looking and very hard to style and maintain volume. The natural state of my hair has never been very volumous , but when I had bleached it the texture changed and it felt a lot thicker. I desperately want that hair back but cannot bleach my hair in this state.. so the only thing I can really do is grow it all out again till I have my natural 100% hair back to bleach it again , with caution to have minimal damage. I have been taking hairbrush vitamins, a b-complex vitamin, as well as trying to drink more water and eat more of the right foods. I’ve also recently started doing a castor oil and coconut oil leave in treatment, which has made it feel stronger. Do you have any advice for me? I am just so desperate to feel some weight to my hair.. it feels like air when I move my head back and forth and doesn’t even feel like it’s there. I also have parts on the top of my head on the right side that got burned off from bleaching back in January this year, they have grown about 6 inches out now but look very odd and stick out unless I straighten them with light heat. I don’t straighten any other parts of my hair anymore as I used to every day and that definitely contributed to the damage I face now. I used to have such beautiful long healthy hair and my confidence has mostly diminished because of all this. I am just desperate to feel like myself again. Thank you for taking the time to read 🙂
For dry styling, I recommend using a dry texture spray like Bumble and bumble’s Dryspun or Design Me’s Puff.ME Light. This will give life and movement to the hair without it feeling too heavy. You can complete the look with a soft hold hairspray like Bumble and bumble’s Spray De Mode.
Studies are still new on the effects of caffeine on hair growth, but a cell study found that caffeine may have growth-promoting effects on hair. Using hair products with caffeine, like this shampoo by AB Crew, as an ingredient may help.
For thicker hair, I recommend using a thermal protectant or primer like Bumble and bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil Primer to help smooth out the cuticle surface. This will add moisture and all the styling products to coat the outside of the hair shaft to allow for a better blow dry.
