Hi Thanks for sharing these tips but I just have one question. If you use the inversion method and massage every other day with coconut oil without breaking for four weeks in between treatments until your hair is your desired length will it stop working after awhile or damage your hair? Basically what I’m asking is why do you break for four weeks? Thank you!
Hair is made up of keratin and dead skin cells. While there’s no direct method to make your hair grow faster overnight, there are steps you can take to keep your hair healthy and long. Talk to your doctor before trying supplements such as biotin, keratin, or other nutritional supplements. They may interact with medications and cause unintended side effects.
Jamee, The best things you can do for healthy hair is eliminating junk food, processed (packaged) foods and eating organic as much as possible, exercising regularly, and drinking lots of pure water. Going natural with beauty products and cleaning products will also help. But these suggestions will also do so very much more than just give you healthy hair. Another very important aspect is the law of attraction. If you fear your will lose your hair, the universe will make that fear a reality. Instead, focus on gratitude for the hair you do have, and how all the improvements you are making are creating the best person you can possibly be. Going natural is always best. Hope this helps and good luck!
Hi there, thank you ever so much for sharing your tips for healthy hair growth. It all sounds very, very good. I’m really interested in hair growth, especially after I too cut my hair into a short pixie cut! Food really is the key to growing healthy hair, almonds and avocados are both delicious and boost your hair growth. You should also try getting some broccoli into your diet if you haven’t already. Please do try the scalp massage, it really can work on some people! Thanks again for sharing.
I am dealing with hairline close to my forehead the hair just isn’t wanting to grow at all. Several people have said that my hair is damaged and fried an that there is nothing that I can do; I have been eating a ton of fruits and vegetables but I haven’t noticed a difference at all what more can I do for my hair, I am open to any suggestions or ideas that might help because I have been extremely embarrassed about my hair I’ve been walking around wearing a giant black headband.
Hey! It’s such a beautiful article, I have confidence in this. Well, reading it makes me pretty sure that I’m going to have long hairs! Thanks a ton! Hoping to write soon. I’ll surely brief you about my growth within a short span! Regards! You’re doing a great job! 🙂
Hi Johanna, thanks for your question. Do you mean your middle parting is growing slowly? Have you found the parting is getting bigger? It sounds like you may have some slow hair growth, give the tips in the article a go. I wouldn’t suggest cutting your hair again unless you prefer it to be shorter.
“Learning about your hair texture is so critical because then you can determine exactly what products you need for your hair,” explains celebrity hairstylist Vernon François, who works with Lupita Nyong’o. “This will inevitably lead you down the path to experiencing the best response from the products you use.”
When you are out in the sun or in the pool, you have to take measures to protect your hair. Keep in mind that keeping the hair safe can result in thicker hair in the long run. Some measures you should take to protect your hair from outside damages:
Until then, one other great way to treat baldness is to embrace it, and choose the shaved head look. Research suggests this strategy could score you some serious street cred: people tend to assess smooth-headed baldies as both stronger and taller than their hair-brained counterparts.
Hi Paige. Sorry to hear you’re frustrated with your hair. Coconut oil will definitely help with the nourishment, as should also help it from tangling. I would, however, recommend the inversion method to encourage hair growth and also make sure you are eating a variety of fruits and vegetables to provide your hair with all the nourishment it needs. I hope this helps. Thanks, Steph
My hair is so thin, it’s embarrassing!! I have a bunch of split ends, it’s frizzy, and WAY TOO THIN! I condition it everytime I wash it, (which at the most is every other day, i know that’s bad), I hardly ever use heat, seriously like NEVER! I always just put it in a braid or a ponytail. But it’s just too thin. What REALLY works? And what is the routine and details that I should use?
Coconut oil is great for your hair and it’s easy to get thicker hair when you use this tropical oil as a treatment. Having a bottle of coconut oil is highly recommended if you wish to take care of your hair naturally and have it looking its best. There are proteins present in coconut oil that are responsible for adding strength to the hair, much like how the proteins in eggs work for treating thin hair.

A major sign of a biotin deficiency is hair loss. A deficiency can be caused by smoking, impaired liver function or even pregnancy. Research suggests that a substantial number of women develop a biotin deficiency during normal pregnancy because the rapidly dividing cells of the developing fetus require biotin for synthesis of essential carboxylases and histone biotinylation. Researchers conclude that signifiant alternations in markers of biotin metabolism during pregnancy and breast-feeding suggest that biotin intakes exceed current recommendations in order to meet the demands of these reproductive states. “Two-thirds of men do get acceptable hair growth — moderate to very good hair growth,” Andrew Kaufman, MD, tells WebMD. Kaufman, a hair-transplant surgeon, is assistant professor of clinical dermatology at UCLA, and medical director of the Center for Dermatology Care, Thousand Oaks, Calif.

I always think it’s important to start with a good foundation in your products and build from there. I love using LOréal Professional Sleek and Swing on all of my styles to protect against heat and smooth the hair, all while building volume. It leaves the hair bouncy and shiny!
Hey! In somewhere in may I had got a layered hair cut. I liked it but then started not liking it after 3 months so I cut it again into a layers. when the stylist cut my it was horrible. Absolutely horrible. I felt like crying because my hair was ruined. My friends made fun of me because of my hair. After 4 months it grew. And I cut it straight but the hairs on the top of my head were still very short. (About 4 inches difference between my top hair and low hair) It still looks horrible so I had to clip the top hair up. The next month later I again cut my hair straight. This all happened in December and now it’s 23ed Feb 2016. My hair still looks weird. I’m desperate for my top hair to grow faster. I have just tried to heat up coconut oil and message my scalp with it. I also tie my hair into two plaits. Could you please give me some tips on how to grow my top hair faster? I want it Atleast 4 inches long but quickly. If you know Lindsey Stirling you’ll see that her top hair is very short from her bottom hair. Please reply as soon as.possible.
Take several drops of rosemary oil and mix it with some benefit-rich olive oil. Massage that mixture into your scalp for just a couple minutes and leave it in there for anywhere from three to four hours.
I had to cut my hair really short cause I bleached my hair way to much and it got stretchy but now I want my hair to grow at least 5 inches if I do all of the things you said in this article how long would it take to grow my hair 5 inches
My advice for someone who is considering this look is to not be deceived by it. It is a classic style that will be easy to maintain and style. It can be customized depending on length and fringe, and both can easily transform this look to match face shape. The color placement is meant to give a natural, sunkissed look that is low maintenance.

Limit how often you wash your hair if it’s more dry & course wash it once a week , if it’s more on the greasy side wash it 2 – 3 times a week , I have noticed the difference in my hair by washing it less.

I totally agree Camilla! I’m a big advocate of nourishing your hair from the insides, too. I load up on eggs, almonds, spinach and broccoli when my hair is not feeling it’s best, and the difference is astounding! Thanks for sharing your tips, love Flaxseed.
