Hi. Thank you so much for the advice but I was wondering. Did you only use it on the scalp at the roots or do you do all of your hair? How much oil did you use? How much almond oil do you mix with the castor oil? Sorry to bombard you with questions I hope you don’t mind.
Studies show that women with an iron deficiency are at a higher risk of hair loss, and serum ferritin levels below or equal to 30 milligrams/milliliter are strongly associated with telogen hair loss. Low serum zinc levels have also been linked to alopecia areata cases.
Hi Saanvi, you don’t need to apply coconut oil every time you do the inversion method. You can massage your scalp without it too. How about only using coconut oil when you are going to wash your hair?
Oils rich in different fatty acid species have been used extensively in both animal and human studies to evaluate the effects on skin and hair health. Omega-3 fats nourish the hair, support hair thickening and reduce inflammation that can lead to hair loss, which is why fish oil benefits hair and is one of the top six vitamins for hair growth.
Honey is a great hair conditioner that makes your hair smooth and boosts the health of hair follicles which are responsible for hair growth. Honey is a natural antioxidant and will make your scalp healthy and stimulate hair growth. Also, this ingredient prevents moisture loss from the scalp because of the high sugar content. This leads to prevention of hair fall and hair follicles strength.
Caviar Treatment Omega+ Nourishing Oil is amazing. It has a concentrated dose of Omega-3 and C22 Fatty Acids that deeply nourish hair while adding intense shine. This results in smooth, silky soft and shiny hair.
Hi there, it’s really up to you. I tried all these at the same time and it worked for me, but I have done the inversion method without the other tips at it also worked. I just felt the oils and foods really helped strengthen my hair at the same time.
The best way to get thick hair is to apply 10-20 drops of almond or coconut oil daily. Wash your hair 2-3 times a week and never use heated styling tools like blow dryers or straighteners. Boost hair growth by cutting off dead ends.
my dear friend … mera tum sab se bohot patla hair tha but u know I m using egg in my hairs … abhi tho mere hair mota ho raha hy and I m using halo shampoo Is best shampoo beaz of it my hair fall stop and its growing much … so u call try it dear ….. have a good time to all
Not every time no, Anu. You can alternate the days – one day with oil, one day without and so on. Split ends – prevention is better than cure I’m afraid. Once it’s split longer than 1 cm you can hide the split with serum but it’s best to get regular trims and use a weekly moisturising treatment, avoid heat and so on.
Hi Thanks for sharing these tips but I just have one question. If you use the inversion method and massage every other day with coconut oil without breaking for four weeks in between treatments until your hair is your desired length will it stop working after awhile or damage your hair? Basically what I’m asking is why do you break for four weeks? Thank you!
Hi Anushka, I had long hair due to bad cut it become medium hair. I have my marriage in 3 months. before i want to get my hair back. i am going to try your method. lets hope for the best. thank You for your article.
After washing at night no less than 30 minutes before bedtime, let your hair air-dry overnight. “In the morning, you can achieve a blowout-like effect using a half-barrel curling iron,” says Santiago. “Split your hair into 12 to 14 sections. When you quickly swoop the iron through them to the ends, it’ll look like a salon blowout done with a big round brush but takes way less time.” You’re not going to have the same volume as you would with a real blowout, but you will look polished. And not like you just got caught in a rainstorm.
I have tried everything to make my hair grow faster for the past 5 years now, I know it takes patience but everything I try damages and dries it out. I’m uneducated about hair care and I could really use the help because I miss my long locks, anything I can do to speed up the process a little, I heard hemp oil and argan oil are good oils for your hair but I want to help my hair without going extravagant in price
I have tried Rosemary oil and has done wonders. I also mix apple cider vinegar with aloevera and add it to my hair while I shampoo. After shampooing, I towel dry and add morocoon oil just few drops….this makes the hair smooth and removes frizz.
I’ve been trying to get my hair to lengthen and thicken, I’ve not heard of the gelatin so I’ll be trying that, my hairdresser suggested taking silica tablets, I got mine from Holland &Barratt they were half price, when I ordered which was a bonus. I’ve been taking them a month now, I must say my hair looks to be stronger and in much better condition
If you’re using heat tools every day whether that be hot irons or the hair-dryer, try to cut down on using them while you are doing the Inversion Method. Heat can weaken your hair so even just alternating or going an extra day without heat can dramatically improve the condition of your hair.
Egg is great for hair and skin and it’s got everything you need to build up the proteins in your hair to keep it thicker and promote new hair growth. Protein is one of the best things you can give your hair to make it stronger, thicker, and looking its best. If there is only one remedy you use to promote thicker hair, let this be it.
HI I always tried to have long hair but then I cut it short and now it’s mid length, I want my hair to grow at least 3 inches please are their any home remedies that I can try, or are their any hair masks I can get to make it grow faster.?
Hi, thanks for the great tips! How many times a week should you use the coconut oil and do you recommend any specific shampoo? I lost a lot of hair after I had a baby so trying to help the regrowth speed up as it’s really thick for about 1inch at the top of my head and terrible everywhere else!
Castor oil includes Vitamin E, minerals and proteins that work excellent for hair growth. Blood circulation is increased to the scalp, which aids in increasing hair growth thanks to its ricinoleic acid and omega-6 essential fatty acids. In addition, it nourishes the scalp and strengthens the roots.
There aren’t many studies on the effects of protein, keratin, and vitamins on hair health. One study looked at a product that had 500 milligrams of keratin and other vitamins and minerals. The group that took the supplement showed:
Hi Meredith. It sounds to me like the chlorine is definitely damaging your hair. Are you using a water-tight cap when swimming? Additionally, are you having it cut regularly? Chlorine will damage your hair, making it more prone to splitting. Regular haircuts will prevent this. I would recommend using a weekly hair treatment, such as coconut oil or a specific hair mask from LUSH to reinject nutrients back into your hair. I hope this helps. Thanks, Steph
You can buy grass-fed gelatin as a supplement that can be added to hot and room temperature drinks. Great Lakes have an affordable range and can be bought from Amazon. Simply add a teaspoon to your morning tea or coffee.

Hair is made up of keratin and dead skin cells. While there’s no direct method to make your hair grow faster overnight, there are steps you can take to keep your hair healthy and long. Talk to your doctor before trying supplements such as biotin, keratin, or other nutritional supplements. They may interact with medications and cause unintended side effects.
This is a great look for someone with thicker hair with a little bit of wave to it. It works for most face shapes. My guest has an oval face shape and came in with a long, almost one length cut. After feeling like her hair had no life and all she was doing was throwing it up in a bun, I decided to add all of the layers to allow for a more versatile look.
