These remedies do work! I apply beaten eggs to my hair once every week and olive oil works wonders too! Adding a few cloves of garlic to the olive oil for a week or two before you use it makes it even better! I have thick long brown hair which reaches just past my waistline. And I’m 5’8, so well you can guess how long that must be. 🙂
I always get oily, unkempt looking hair after I use coconut oil. It helps my hair but it’s awfully hard to style when you have to be out for most of the day and you still want to look acceptable. Any tips?

I will definitely be trying this advice. My hair is currently at my waist, but my man would love for it to reach my ankles lol. My issues are dry brittle hair that also falls out easily. I love extremely hot showers and am certainly not looking forward to the cold rinse, but if it does nothing but stop it from falling out so easy, it’s definitely worth a try. Thanks for the advice. I recommend the inversion method a lot (even though I can’t guarantee it will work for everyone) because it’s free, it’s easy to do and it worked for me. I think it’s fairly easy to try out, and there is no cost involved if you do it without oil, so it is my go-to tip! I have fine blond hair. I have tried 100′s of products. Some hairdressers over process. (if you ask for a weave, ask for 5 foils, not a partial or full weave) avoid over processing. And, do not use that hot flat iron on your hair.

Isn’t true that Biotin makes B5 absorption close to impossible? So taking a B Complex vitamin ensures that you get neither enough biotin, nor Vitamin B5, because they are mutually exclusive in terms of absorption.
I also believe protecting the head from sun exposure (UV) is important, as presented by Conklin. (Despite her spelling issues, I don’t think this issue should be discounted – and in her defense, I think her grammar issues are due to being a non-native English speaker. There are limits to how thick any given person’s hair can get, but you can certainly increase the thickness of your hair. Using high-quality shampoo and conditioner, using coconut and/or castor oil (ideally left in overnight and then washed out – it could make your hair look greasy, so you might not want to have it in during the day), and getting good nutrition can all help. Not every time no, Anu. You can alternate the days – one day with oil, one day without and so on. Split ends – prevention is better than cure I’m afraid. Once it’s split longer than 1 cm you can hide the split with serum but it’s best to get regular trims and use a weekly moisturising treatment, avoid heat and so on.
Loved your article on hair supplements. It appears you found a solution to your hair issues. Rosemary oil and green tea before going to bed. Do you put the essential oil on your hair, if so how much? I am aware ot biotin for the hair, but what benefit do you receive from the zinc? My hair breaks easily especially when i comb after hair wash. Every mornin on an empty stomach have a glass full of carrot o beetroot juice. Do not brush ur hair when its wet. Also oil ur hair atleast 2 hours before ur bath. Have multivitamin supplements daily at nite before sleeping. Have a good haircut atleast every 4 months.
This bob is asymmetric and has a deep side part. The heavier side of the part is layered more to make sure it isn’t too bulky. The lighter side of the part isn’t layered as much since there isn’t as much hair on that side.
